Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

At the top of the screen, on the far left-hand side, click "User CP". Look at the "latest reputation received" section, I left a comment for you there yesterday.

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

I've heard from two reliable sources that Michigan Tech forward Seth Soley, who played his high school hockey for Eau Claire Memorial (WI.) and spent one seson with Omaha in the USHL is transferring to St. Norbert College. I just put up a post on my blog about his transfer with some links to stats, etc. He will be a Junior this season.

fixed your post!:)

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

Siena's ACHA D2 coaches are coaching the Adirondack team (which for some strange reason includes most of the capital district...), so I actually got the pleasure of helping out with the first round of try-outs (ironically, the one held in Albany, not Plattsburgh).

Good group of kids. Some really fast skaters. Some not so much. Coach put them through it all in that tryout, and more than a handful of them looked to still have the endurance to keep it going. I'm not 100% positive how many from that try-out made it, and how many were from the Plattsburgh try-out. But I can tell you that if they got the same talent level or better from the Plattsburgh try-out, they've got one helluva hockey team for the ESG age group. Lots of future college potential, if you ask me. The oldest of these kids will be entering their senior year of High school the fall... they have plenty of time to mature even more in prep school or juniors, if they choose to go that route.

Also pertinent to DIII Men's Hockey... Central's Women's team, the only one on the list with only 1 coach listed, is coached by a very familiar name: Glenn Thomaris of Elmira, NY.

Is his daughter playing on the team?

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

UMass-Amherst has posted its roster for the coming year and lists Patrick Kiley as a key newcomer so it looks like he won't be going to Utica after all. .

Re: 2010 Division III Commitments

my bad.... should of posted that a few days ago because i found out that Kiley was going there and not to Utica a while back..... The latest rumor though from a very close source to the UC mens ice hockey team said to me that Kiley will not be staying/playing at UMass-Amherst for very long at all and that by Christmas break he'll be wearing the Orange & Blue and playing for Utica....
