Rangers trade Rosival to Pheonix for Wolski.

I like it.

We cleared $1.2 in cap space too.

Wolski has a lot more upside and CAN BE a top six forward. Rozy was having a decent season but the Rangers have an overstock of average defenseman. Wolski gives them a young gun with who has showed the ability to put up big points. He's good in the SO.

When Frolov went down, as crappy of a season as he has had, still needed a body till fill the spot.

He's gotten a bad rap in Phoenix, but I think part of that is due to the fact that there's not a ton of younger players on that team. In New York, he'll have 14 players 26 years old or younger to be on a team with rather than 8 players with the 'Yotes.

Wait, so now veterans don't help the development of young players?

Let me rephrase. I think in Phoenix it's a bit more of a veteran's team where his lacksidasical attitude was worsened by veterans getting on him. Whereas in New York, maybe he'll identify more with the team because of the relative age of the core players.

Jebus, the Wild have gone from can't lose at home/win on the road to the opposite this year.

All Star rosters were announced today.

Lundqvist and Staal make it from the Rangers.

Stepan to the Rookie game.

Dubinsky was robbed.

I thought they might be honest until they started making a serious case to locate the franchise in Wausau. That's when I knew they had been hitting the 'thinner.

Bingo. I thought they truly believed in it but were just a little misguided. Then that part came up and I instantly thought they were drunk.

How so? He's been good, but it's not as if there's others on the roster who have been bad this year.

Bruins with a CRAZY win last night.

It ****es me off.

Why can't they play like that all the time? This team is so **** inconsistent.

Re: 2010-11 NHL Season part I: Blackhawks Down in Atlanta

Nice to see that the Rangers are once again making a crappy backup goalie look like Jacques Plante.

Edit to add: And an absolute joke of a non-call when PK Subban slewfoots Brandon Dubinsky right in front of the ref. Apparently you're allowed to do that against the Rangers.

Okay, I'm a bit less angry with the Bruins now. SOLID win on night 2 of back to back games.
