At least with this team, the expectations coming into the year were properly "managed" ;)

And, please, I'm not saying that to rub in a recent victory; as a hockey fan above all else, I am truely, truely perplexed at the current doldrums of this highly talented Gopher hockey squad.

For the first time since I became a Gopher Hockey rube I am enjoying watching the professional team more than I enjoy the college team.

That's not making me a very happy camper.

The Wild pour on 19 SOG (only given up 3!) in the first but nothing to show for it...I dont like the outcome but love the way they are playing so far! :D

Jesus Kiprusoff basically kills that all by himself he made some great saves :(

He has 25 saves already...I doubt the Wild could play any better right now!

I was just about ready to write a post about how the Wild were hanging their heads now, but James Sheppard ( :eek: ) ties it up!

Sheppard ties it up! (he has been playing very well of late and Havlat has had a very good game)

Sheppard has really impressed me, though I wont lie I am a little drunk ;)

Think how good these guys might be if they were at full strength :eek:

I will admit, it seems he has been trying a lot harder and is getting in good possition to make things happen. Now, he needs to go the next step and start making things happen more.

I am more sober now than I will be in a little bit...I am on my 3rd glass of Jameson which is roughly 12 fingers the way I pour :D :p

I am drunk enough to even admit that Derek Boogaard is playing well :eek:
