Awesome. I really need to get down to Nashville to see a game at some point.

I have an extra for the March 2 game against Edmonton, though getting tickets is never really much of an issue here. One thing I thought was awesome...the race was $35, which included a long sleeve t and a voucher for the game tonight. Then, they let you upgrade to lower bowl seats for an extra $10. So, for $45 - lower bowl ticket, run in a race, and t-shirt. Not bad.

They've blown more opportunities to score than I have. It's starting to get depressing now. I think there's a reason why Charlie Brown wore black & gold...

Love the Charlie Brown comment! :D

There's only one thing to do now that Kovalchuk is off the market, and that is lose, lose, lose. Get two top 5 picks in the draft and hope they get a can't miss prospect or two. Trade Thomas as there's no point in keeping a 35 year old goalie, and then let some kids from Providence play.

Who in their right mind would take Tim Thomas and that awful contract? They'll be gagging on that one until it's over.

Shocked; Habs up 5-2. Fluery chased after 4th goal. The scary thing is Montreal's best line has been Trotter (yep, that one) - White - Desharnais. They just got called up last night as a trio, and are skating as the 4th line. They've drawn 4 penalties.

Pittsburgh only has 20 shots with about 8 minutes to go...on a team that routinely gives up 35+.

Goddammed mother fu**ing **** ^%]€|€|^{%[^[%]{+}#+%%•%=%*|£|€|>_<_|€~*}*#^}{^]%[##]{>|^~

I heard that Thomas Holmstrom left the Wings game injured and isn't expected back soon.

This years team is jinxed.

Well, if you'd stop blowing your wad at the Sharks, you'd have something left for the other 28 god**** teams. You only have two more free points next week for the rest of the season.

The Rangers have suddenly remembered that the point of the game is for the black rubber object to go in the red arched object filled with netting.

It's okay. They'll forget again tomorrow.

Re: 2009-2010 NHL Season Thread 2: Its all going up in flames!

The Pens/Caps was in danger of being postponed tomorrow because of 30 inches of snow in the area.

That sort of thing wouldn't happen in a warm weather city. ;)

Edit: And Don Cherry's rant tonight was inexplicably about how Dion Phaneuf should have won the 2007 Norris over Lidstrom. Must really tick him off that A) Lidstrom's better at 40 than Phaneuf's ever likely to be and B) There are 7 better Canadian defensemen than Dion.

They scored five goals on Thursday.

Anyone else watching the Avs/Oilers game?

Highly entertaining end to end action so far.

The Avs are fun team to watch with all their young talent. Duchene and Stewart especially.

Agreed -- they are looking good heading toward the playoffs.

We were listening to the radio broadcast on XM. Even my wife, the diehard Avs fan, can't stand listening to Moser's screaming. I can't believe Altitude dumped Norm Jones for him.

That was a hell of a fun game to watch!

Anderson was awesome for the Avs and it continued to be great end to end action the whole night.

A heck of a lot more entertaining than most Rangers games.

Stewart, Duchene, Yip, Galiardi are all on my fantasy team so that's really the only reason why I was watching but count me as an Avs fan if they make the playoffs. Those guys create a lot of excitement. (and hopefully they keep putting up great fantasy stats)

Duchene, Yip, Wolski line accounted for all three goals in the 3-0 shutout.

I know he likely cared back then when the finalists were announced, but its even funnier that he cares MORE now. What a joke.

I'm glad they decided to go ahead and have the Caps/Pens game despite all the worry about Sidney Crosby freezing his vagina.
