First penalty of the game, hilariously on the Caps. After about 10 blatant penalties that the Habs get away with the Caps commit their own and get burned.

1-0 Habs.

There's that foundation.

Watching this from a disinterested point of view is weird. I feel like I should be cursing and throwing things.

Someone needs to wake up Andrei Kostitsyn. Totally invisible that period, and for all but one game this series. Abysmal at getting the puck out of the zone in his own end.

Heh,
I'm kinda rooting for the Caps (my new home team), but that was pretty effing stoopid.

He's been brutal in this series.

It was a completely legit penalty and I don't know why he thought he would get away with it.

He's such a worthless player and I said they should have sat him.

Mike Green has been very visible. Would you want AK to have that kind of visibility?

Oh, you can have someone beaten and not score.

Sometimes it even happens in the final minute of a national championship game, during a 6x3. So I hear. :(

the goalie knows if it is on net or wide... years of training and experience.

if he knows it is going wide he'll let it go and not create a needless rebound in front of the goal. best to let it go behind the net or in the corner. ;)

Habs ahead in face-offs. That's got to be the first time this series.

Marc Andre Bergeron: 13 seconds of great PP time, 1:12 seconds of sheer terror even strength.

What is there some rule against calling a legit penalty?

He hauled Chimera down.

Rooting for the Bruins to end up with home ice...
