Detroit outshoots the 'yotes 17-6 in the first period, but nothing for either side gets in.

Really, wings?

Softie off Howards stick and in over the blocker off the faceoff. Fiddler.

I didn't say he was going to be God. I just thought it was a good signing because of the fact Boston lacked anyone that could fill the net. At the very least he gave them another option.

Right now, I'd rather see Satan on the ice than Wheeler.

Satan has turned out to be a very good signing, especially with his two GWGs against the Sabres.

Bruins have advanced to the conference semifinals in consecutive years for the first time since '91-'92. Wow. Hopefully Hall/Seguin eventually leads them further.

So let me get this straight, the Detroit player was in the crease, and hitting Bryz in the pads with his stick, but that's not interfering with the goalie?

If it wasn't Holmstrom, refs usually figure it's legal. They make up for it by calling Holmstrom every time he's <strike>in the</strike> near the crease.

Penalty parade, with Helm/Lombardi, then Stuart just got sent off for hooking. PHX will have a 5x3 for 1:12.

That should be 2 minutes on Zetterberg for delay.

Refs show lack of balls.
