Re: 2009-2010 NHL Playoffs Thread Part II: Dan Boyle's fate rests in the balance...

EDIT: I have the opportunity to buy Round 2 tix tomorrow...anyone have an idea on dates yet? I probably couldn't go if the game was on a Wed-Friday.

Even a good guess on dates, lol. How long is normally between series? As long as the series starts before May 5th, and they play every other day like normal...I should be able to go to Game 4. (Or Game 1 if the Bruins get the home seed.)

WORST case scenario: Game 1 would be the Tuesday the 4th, 2 Thursday the 6th, 3 Saturday the 8th, and 4 Monday the 10th.
Game 1 will either be on Friday or Saturday.

Brent Seabrooke just blocked a shot from Weber which looked like it really hurt.

GOD this is tough...it really hinges on what happens with the Caps/Habs series...because the B's could still have Games 1 & 2 at home.

If the Game I go to is on a Saturday, Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday I can go for sure...anything else will be REALLY tough to cover from work.

Do they play every other day during the Semis as well? This is big because it will allow me to determine the rest of the games dates.

I'm almost certain the B's will start on Friday...as both them and their potential opponent will have had time off, whereas the winner of the Habs/Caps series will have only 1 day off, so the NHL will give them an extra day.

Doesn't matter, that PP is atrocious.

I wonder which is worse, Nashville's or Washington's.

Nashville should score more with Weber bombing from the point.

Capitals should score more because of the talent disparity.

Tight game...go Blackhawks, close it out...nothing against Nashville, I just like seeing an O6 team advance.

Looks like I'm gonna buy tix to Home Game 1...which should either be Friday (Game #1) or Tuesday (Game #3). Here's hoping the Caps win, because going to Game 3 would be much better for me.

Bah, you should root for Montreal in hopes of a crazy unlikely Montreal-Boston finals. ;) That would be ill.

So, who else is ready for a nice 5 overtime game tomorrow in the desert?

Congrats, Hawks. I would've rather seen the Preds win, but meh, whatever. Now I get to root for you to beat the Fanucks!

So, who else is ready for a nice 5 overtime game tomorrow in the desert?

Ooh, ooh, ooh! Pick me! Pick me! :D ;) :)
