Pascal's Wager is lazy. If God exists they don't care what we prescribe to its all about just being a good person.

If God is dumb enough to fall for tbe "I'm old I better start believing!!" crap then he isn't really all knowing anyways.

Do you worry one of the 100,000 gods that have gone extinct was the real one and everybody's going to hell?

Do you worry that this life is all there has been so by not being true to yourself you are literally wasting your eternity?

Do you worry that any god worth worshipping knows when you are just faking it to cover yourself and saves Her most diabolical punishments for that?

But I especially like that there are faiths where if you believe in their god, you are elect, and you if believe in nothing you are still okay, but if you believe in the wrong god then you burn in eternal damnation.

So much for Pascal's Wager.

So George Santos's ethics report was released, and it's pretty scathing. He first declared innocence and blathered something about Article 5. Then he reiterated his innocence but said he wasn't going to run for reelection. The dude used campaign funds for Onlyfans hahahaha

2004. I expected the Brooks Brothers Riot, but when the people legitimately re-elected that regime I lost all remaining faith in the average American voter, or for that matter the average American.

The Founders were right. They just didn't restrict the franchise the correct way.

Let's start with counting white men as 3/5ths*.

You can simply trace this back to the fact that many of Dump's voters are now 2nd-4th generation white people who simply don't have any experience with the "normal world". They have lived in their own isolation (backwoods South/White, affluent or middle class Burbs/Western settings where the white guys are "on their own"/Etc) and that isolation has given them their warped sense of reality based on the mentioned influences.
 
The remarkable thing about Dump's followers' belief in the Horatio Alger myth is their families' history belie it. A huge percentage of these people have American roots that stretch all the way back to the 17th century. Yet despite 10 generations in America they have never risen above the level of subsistence, first tenant farmer, then unskilled laborer, now welfare parasite.

If America truly is a meritocracy, the way they think, their continued poverty and lack of achievement is the most eloquent testimony to their lack of value.

Sorry, but I don't really agree with this. Perhaps changing times have caught up with them more rapidly than they are prepared to accept, but their warped sense of reality is a choice. They choose to follow fringe media sources and to go with their gut feelings over any facts that don't fit their narrative.
 
Homeschooling was the inflection point. It used to be your parents were stupid, tough break, but you got away from them in school and learned the world was bigger and more interesting and finally you learned that your parents were stupid.

With homeschooling you never escape. The morons replicate eternally.
