yet earlier today he said he has military leadership calling him and telling him they’re fine and to keep it up

They don’t want him to stop. He’s the public face for their private plan to leave the vacancies open until a Republican is elected president and they can fill the spots with loyalists who will do what they want (like overturning elections).

Coupled with Project 2025 where they can clean house and put all loyalists in charge of all facets of Government...

The only bright spot in that scary scenario is theres going to be factions that think they aren't harming enough people fast enough and they'll turn on each other.

He keeps doubling down on that. If the military really had his back we would know about it and he wouldn't be the only one saying it.

Having heard Hunter in in depth interviews before...the guy will wipe the floor with most of the GOP. That is why they want it closed door because they are just going to go Gym Jordan on the bit and never let him get a word in edgewise.

Honestly, Hunter should call Bret Baier and do an interview on Faux. the network might implode!

Then again, hell hath no fury like a drag queen, fake jew whose mother died in 9/11 just kidding she didnt and who embezzled from his election fund to pay for Only Fans scorned!

I doubt anybody told him anything. He was a wildcard from the first morning, and nobody trusts that.

Imagine everything the real old guard knows. My god, 50 years of corruption, blackmail, scandal, and probably outright criminality. If somebody like Chuck Grassley ever had an Andrew Carnegie Moment and started telling the truth to save his immortal soul they would have to waste him -- he could probably take down 80% of DC.
 
I'm torn on this. Not because I like Santos, obviously. I have no interest in defending him or dying on this hill. The ethics report and indictments are damning. However, he hasn't been convicted of anything yet. That should mean something. And this iteration of the GQP will seize on this and try to expel another Democrat the millisecond they think they can do so.

Also, politically, I'd love to let this piece of lying, grifting trash hang like a millstone around their necks.
