Well, all taxation is theft, so it must be okay to cheat a thief.

in the same way that it must be okay to steal an election that (you allege) was fraudulent.

So long as there ia some “offense” you can point to on the other side, before or after the fact, then you should be allowed total freedom of action to retaliate, and retaliate disproportionately.

Hell, if I'm paying every dollar I owe, and it's a good amount but society has been good to me so I'll pay it, then everyone else better too. So get as many people as you need to make sure others are paying their share too.
