This is exactly true. I'll be an ******* to those who deserve it, I have no problem giving it other a-holes. But people and fans that I get along with and I have respect for are completely different, I will be kind and respectful to them, just as I was to the BEMIDJI (emphasis because apparently our own *****y midget is a terrible ****ing speller) fans last week.if every single one of us Tech fans turns into a gloating, arrogant, insufferable, mean spirited a^^hole - we deserve it!!! Go Tech!!

Ahh, finally. I've been waiting for the "you didn't win, we lost argument".
I will say that I thought Gwoz gave a stand up post game assessment. I haven't cared for some of his patronism in the past, but I'll give credit where credit is due.
I expect Denver to come out strong tonight. Either Tech matches the intensity, or we'll be chasing them around and creating a parade to the box on clutch and grab penalties

While true, it does seem that DU and to a lesser extent UND seem to be trying to tell everyone "This is good for us, it may even be good for you, deal with it." Its hard to keep up with all the posters, but I know some DU and UND fans have been very nice about it, some even said they don't like it, and I'm sure a lot are in support of the MTU and MSUM and BSUs and are keeping silent. Its the ones that come out and say, "Here, this is good for you, now eat it, love it, and ask for seconds" that are upsetting everyone. We all know the WCHA can't keep MN and UW, we also know that the NCHC can't be unformed, but we don't have to like it, and those who say "Quit crying" would not be too happy if in a parallel universe it was DU and UND being left out in the cold.

Someone mentioned a skate to the head. Announcers during the game said "shoulder." Gwozdecky said he won't play tonight.

As a DU fan, we seem to have a couple of these games per year. I usually take comfort by saying: "well, the boys learned a lesson that they need to bring their "A" game every night." But that is getting kind of old. How dumb do those kids have to be to need a wake up call to realize they aren't god's gift to hockey?

Any honest and regular DU fan knows, it is very rare for a Gwozdecky team to play like they did last night - 2 nights in a row. Denver might as well wear different jerseys because it will be a different team out there tonight. Did Hope make the Michgan trip?

I'll be glad when the "Tech caught our team off guard" line doesn't play anymore. Honestly, after last night, it has to be retired for the remainder of the season.

we'll see...i know that everyone's getting their hopes up for Tech being a huge threat this year, but don't just go and say they will be. I hope they kick *** this year, but I still know it's a long shot, and DU will be a lot better tonight then they were yesterday.

With my propensity to find parallels between real life and movies, what last night reminded me of was Ralphie beating the snot out of Scut Farkus. And Farkus slinking away, with a bloody nose, looking around to see if anyone saw his humiliation. Well, EVERYBODY saw this humiliation! While it may be a bit premature to declare "MTU is back," it sure looks like something good is happening.
