I gotta say... Mel is doing a great job so far... with Jamie's boys.
I think he was a great guy and everything considered a dang good recruiter. He could not, however, develop his players much past where they were when they came to Tech. How many relatively talked about players did he get and how many ended up doing much of anything? St. Louis, Gagne etc all came in with high expectations but underperformed beyond belief. I think Jaime is a great recruiter/assistant coach type but not a head coach.

NO ONE in this thread has been more obnoxious, more insulting, and less classy than Shirtless Guy. If he were a DU fan I would be pretty irritated to be rooting for the same team as him right now. I find it amusing therefore that in one post you compliment him while deriding someone else for lacking class or whatever. It looks like Tech has a great team this year, but they sure seem to have the same bunch of bad apples among their fans that every other team has.

I will admit I have been a complete *****, but if notice it's because your program is full of shortsighted, arrogant *****holes who abandoned 4 programs for no good reason. They deserve every ounce of classless banter I spew on these boards. George gwozdecky is a classless hack that doesn't realize how good DU had it in the WCHA they abandoned. If you and he really think they are better off with my program than fcuk off, good riddance, dont let the door hot you on your way out of the UP. I hope Michigan Tech continues to improve and faces DU in the NCAAs just in time for their typical choke job.

I'm just as ****ed as those to about the decisions the DU and UND administration as made, but I'm not going to direct at the fanbase, most of which are just as sad to see WCHA raped and pillaged.
