0 Days Since Last Mass Killing: Maybe It's the Person, Not the Gun...

Re: 0 Days Since Last Mass Killing: Maybe It's the Person, Not the Gun...

Kirstjen Nielsen sounds just like Brent on Fox News this morning.

I just saw on Twitter (thanks to Daniel Dale) that Laura Ingraham on Fox News says rabies are going to be brought into this county. Rabies! Hide yo' children, hide yo' wives!

Also saw the complete list, and they're making this caravan seem like an anti-vaxxers nightmare:
"Could caravan be bringing unknown diseases?
Hep A
Influenza
Tuberculosis
Shigellosis (this is the "Don't drink the water in Mexico" virus)
Syphilis
HIV
Measles
Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
Rubella
Rabies"

For fu**s sake FOX News. This is all sh*t that's already in this country. Every day.

Re: 0 Days Since Last Mass Killing: Maybe It's the Person, Not the Gun...

Do they think they are gonna bite a bunch of people? Rabies?

Re: 0 Days Since Last Mass Killing: Maybe It's the Person, Not the Gun...

The people shot at the church in Texas are exactly the kind of people you are talking about. If you’re a non criminal the odds of dying in a firearm homicide are approximately one in 10 million each year. One side understands that and the other doesn't.

The side that insists they need to be heavily armed in order to defend themselves?

Well if they are as ignorant as Drew that probably is the only way.

Wow. That's awesome. Stuff like this should get more press.

Besides, you don't have to worry about that if you're current with your vaccinations.

Oh, wait...…………………………..

Typical lefty.

See how ridiculous that is, folks? ;)
On one hand you have a person talking about hypothetical violence and on the other you have a history of people actually doing it statistically more often than radical Muslims (since 9/11). BOTH SIDES MIRITE!?!?

1 in 10,000,000? That doesn't sound right. That would mean only about 35 "non criminal" people die by firearm homicide each year.

Well they always love to take out suicides and cherrypick the stats to fit a narrative. Because the actual data compared to other similar economically advanced countries isn’t flattering.

It's probably an NRA stat that they averaged out over several decades, maybe even the past century or more.

The actual odds, if you look at the past 20 years, are higher. Wouldn't surprise me if there has been a steady increase since the assault weapons ban ended in 2005.

I suppose if they averaged it out since the beginning of time, then I could see it. Otherwise, I would anticipate the number to be somewhere closer to 1:10,000. You'd have to be an absolute moron to believe that only 35 "non criminal" people die by firearm homicide each year. I mean, a grade A, 100% certified, no doubt moron.

You just aren't looking at it from a Trumper's point of view. Brown skin, criminal. Women, criminal. LGBT, criminal. Liberal, antifa criminal. Now how many are left?

Re: 0 Days Since Last Mass Killing: Maybe It's the Person, Not the Gun...

A week after the Revolution killed the Carmelites of Compiegne.

I believe that's the "Martyrs of Compiègne", to you, Sir.

In fact, a couple of your favorite conservative Catholic websites seem to agree.

http://catholicapologetics.info/library/onlinelibrary/martyrs.htm

https://catholicexchange.com/the-blessed-martyrs-of-compiegne

Not to mention your much-maligned USCCB:

But nevermind this apostate chastising you.
