Well, it's good to point out how even proclaimed moderate R's are incapable of original thought.

Let alone actually pay attention to reality.

But best of all, fear is the driving factor in the post. Which is exactly my problem with all Rs. This progression to where we are now will never stop.

I’m all for that, I just don’t think he’s genuine anything, other than a troll. You can almost predict what he’ll say line by line

But who are you pointing it out to? We all know that. It isn't like this thread is being broadcast to the world...
 
The only reason this took this long is because MAGA Republicans needed to figure out that you just needed to pick a quieter election denier, not friggin Jim Jordan. They're not bright, but we all knew that.

So the GOP has one of the worst midterm showings of all time based on election denial and Abortion Rights and their response is elect a Speaker who denied Biden won (and was the force behind the challenge) and wants a federal abortion ban.

Every Democrat just saw their donations go up exponentially!

edit to add: Things are going to get ugly when Trump challenges his loss in '24.
 
If they want to run on a platform of a nationwide abortion ban, go for it. I'm sure it'll go as well with suburban and urban women as it has in the last 3 elections, especially now post-Dobbs, with even more Zoomers lining up to vote for the first time in 2024, and with Dump seemingly a lock for the top of the ticket short of him getting any actual prison time (not holding my breath).

Like someone else said: this guy has Paul Ryan’s economic policies, mike pence views on marriage/women/abortion and dumps views on elections. Brilliant !
 
He’s also written support for criminalizing gay sex

Strategist: A bunch of things that you support so people know why to vote for you...
GOP: we didn't really have one last time and we took the House!
Strategist: ...ummm...yeah that is true but it was also one of the worst showings ever. The only reason you hung on to barely take the House was because NY got stupid and now they fixed that!
GOP: but we WON!! WE OWNED THE LIBS!!!!1!!
Strategist: ...ok...well...if you want to keep winning you will need to come up with a platform people can vote for...even if it is BS or evil you need to have something.
GOP: our people vote for ending Abortion and MORE GUNS! And hating Gays and Blacks and Jews!
Strategist: ...ummm...right but your numbers are dwindling especially since the Pandemic!

Strategist: ok we need to stop that for now and focus on issues...
GOP: ...what now? Ok fine go ahead!
Strategist: Pretty much every metric shows Abortion is a great issue to run on...but not if you want to ban it.

Strategist: Abortion bans are why you lost Middle Class Women even White Conservative ones.
GOP: ....
Strategist: And you lost a lot of support from the center/non-committeds by saying the election was rigged and Biden didn't win
GOP: **must resist urge to bring up voting machines and how 1/6 was a false flag**
Strategist: In my humble opinion, and in the opinion of everyone who can do math, you should walk away from those issues...and maybe leave Gay Marriage and Drag Shows alone too! Every time you even mention it another Zoomer gets their voter registration handed in.
GOP: ok give us a few days we will come up with something good!
Strategist: ok...make sure whoever you elect as Speaker is a great example of what your campaigns will be like next year!

**4 weeks pass**

GOP: Finally we got a guy who shows our core values! I bet the strategists will love it!
Strategist: What are you guys phucking stupid? You just elected a guy who is the exact opposite of everything we said! The American people told you to lay off Abortion, Election Denial and Social Issues...and you doubled down?
GOP: ITS A LOCK TO HELP!! THEY WILL NEVER SEE IT COMING!
Strategists: Who?
GOP: The Demoncrats Party! They won't know what to do against that platform because they won't think we are dumb enough to run it!
Strategist: I am going to need my full billables payment up front...
 
NY Dems may have fixed their redistricting mistakes from the last outing, but the GQP is right behind them with a proposed gerrymander of North Carolina that would make Maryland and Texas blush.
