I posted having no idea what teams actually existed in the WHL. It is closer than Wennatche but they didn't take advantage so Wennatche should. I'm sure they will pick a generic name like it appears much of the WHL has.

I'd love for them to be the Atom Smashers mostly because it would remind me of this hilarious bit from the Simpsons: https://youtu.be/Qq7wnMvLYg4

Last hockey of the season is tonight with the AHL Calder Cup Finals Game 7 tonight between Coachella Valley (Seattle) and Hershey (Washington). Looks like the AHL is streaming the game for free on their website.

Not as shocked as you might think. Although it's pretty funny that they seem to need a sport scholarship to pay for their kids college...

But it sure seems as this action tanked that possibility.
 
Those parents are nuts, but the last thing I'm doing a day after meeting with people that volatile are sending them a "sarcastic" email stating the very thing they want.

I also thought that was an odd move. The email doesn’t even seem sarcastic in nature. Definitely crazy parents though. One of my stepfather’s grandsons plays baseball for Orono. I’m sure the politics and parents are just as bad for that.
 
Def a dumb move, but he was a new coach and I’m guessing he was a little shocked at getting raked over coals after taking the girls to the state title game.

I don’t know how anyone coaches anymore

Agreed. When it said sarcastic I thought it was going to be highly over the top like "as you know, I obviously do not have very much experience nor connections to the college game, and as such I'm still trying to navigate the best avenues to get players recruited."

Instead he's like "well, since I'm quitting you guys will need to find someone to do the training program this summer."

A significant percentage of parents are entitled f-cktards. My daughter is moving from JHS to HS teacher to try to get away from them. Reflecting from the Comments on that story, it is typically the rich ones who are the worst.

Non-rich parents usually don't have the time or money to be entitled dick-sneezes about children's sports.
