Yeah, but then he wound up getting some payback when he scored the tying goal. I shut it off at that point. Figured they would pull that game out. They will most likely win tomorrow as well. All that crowing about Vegas winning after game 2 - you can't do that. This Florida team, man. They will not go lightly.

Why does T do so much of that crap? He’s a better player than that and should not have to be such an a$$ to score and win a lot.

Because grit! And toughness! And the refs allow all this shit because it is what they want for playoff hockey.

The board of directors of Senators Sports & Entertainment announced Tuesday that a group led by Michael Andlauer has entered into an agreement to purchase the controlling interest of the Ottawa Senators. Although the board has not disclosed the terms of the deal, multiple reports put the purchase price at nearly $1 billion.
Andlauer, 57, would divest his stake in the Montreal franchise before being fully approved to take over the Senators. He agreed to terms of the sale, which prohibited moving the team from Ottawa, and shared plans for a new arena as part of his bid.

Was there talk of moving from Ottawa? I would think it's a perfect location.

Now to pull the FL teams to Hamilton and Quebec City.

Found this in an article from last year,

It's taken less than 48 hours since the passing of longtime Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk for rumors about a possible relocation to take hold.
In one hand, it's easy to understand. The Senators have long been one of the league's most financially undermined teams and there have been false reports of a possible relocation for years. On the other hand... well... Melnyk's family hasn't even buried their father and husband yet and people are talking about the Sens leaving town? That must be a tough pill to swallow.

Looks like the Vegas draught is over

i giggle a bit because the few times I ventured over to HF boards this year there was always a thread about how the west sucked and the east was gonna roll this year.

I really thought FLA would put up a better fight at this point. They are just a house cat tonight- cute to some, but pretty worthless at doing stuff.

FU** YEAH!!!! WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

So excited to see Vegas win the cup! So fun seeing some of the players I watched on their first farm club team win!

Thank god the coming global depression will contract the N back to an all-Canadian 6-team league.

One good thing, anyway.
