Yale: Cheating their way to #1?

Re: Yale: Cheating their way to #1?

And UND played nearly the entire season without Genoway. So Genoway+60 minutes > Yale+Backlund.

Re: Yale: Cheating their way to #1?

It implies that there is something in your post that indicates proof of something one way or the other. Analysis may have been a poor word to use, but since there was no proof, your post and quote are essentially an opinion or ... analysis of events.

Regardless, semantics tends to be a deflection from the lack of factual evidence to back up your argument. As such, I believe we are done here.

Thank you for releasing me from your holier than thou pontificating! I feel so free!!!!

We got us a Pier 6 brawl, McMahon!

Ask Stan, he obviously knows. He can teach you word wrap too!

Darn it! Stan corrected "McMamon" before I had a chance to do so. I was going to offer to proof-read his posts as a quid-pro-quo for schooling me in word wrap.
If I need to explain the Latin, let me know. That was a Boston Latin School "thing". Unfortunately, neither that venerable institution (1635), nor Yale (1701) nor Harvard (1636)
saw fit to include "The Theory and Practice of Word Wrap" in its curriculum.

. . . or the fact that a period at the end of a sentence goes inside quotation marks.

Re: Yale: Cheating their way to #1?

Sean Backman one of the leading scorers in the country & messed up their lines.

Listen, Western hockey was slower than East last year, is slower than East THIS year & is living on their reputation.

And now they're leaking info on Cahill to some bubble head beauty pageant queen at HockeyBuzz...

Yale is #1 - a legit #1 - keeps proving it - and will continue to get better as a program with 4 NHL draft picks among it's incoming freshman class.

BTW - Andrew Miller is going to win the Hobey by the time he graduates & Kevin Peel is the fastest D in the country.

End of discussion.

and we'd been working so hard on our reputation for modesty here, too....

Leaked this info on Cahill? No one knew who the hell he was. Why would anyone leak info on this talentless schlub?

Ask Ryan Carroll. He still hasn't seen Yale's second goal Saturday night. Also, it would seem that Gadowski and Pecknold beg to differ.

Re: Yale: Cheating their way to #1?

Never heard of those three either. They sound like they should own a deli together though. On his best day this Cahill chap couldn't carry MMFF's jock.

Re: Yale: Cheating their way to #1?

The story refers to NCAA complaince officers and NCAA bylaws, not Yale or Ivy League. I would think the reference to college eligibility means more than Yale and Ivy League as well

The NCAA compliance officers are employees of Yale, not the NCAA. The fact is, they have explicitly mentioned working with the Ivy League and with Yale, but not with the ECAC nor with the NCAA.

The question is, has Cahill met the NCAA requirements. The answer is, he has met Ivy League and Yale requirements. Unfortunately, it's not an answer to the question asked.

No big deal doesn't every half decent team have NHL draft picks. When your recruits are routinely picked in the first round then you got a top tier program.
