Already insane, UAA making it worse
Japan and Morocco looking at the rest of their Confederations saying "why are the rest of you so fucking terrible?"
Interesting graphic of all the teams with players not born in the country. All (or almost all) of Curaçao is actually born in the Netherlands. Surprised at how much the African teams are made up of the diaspora.Saw a bit on IG of a Euro-snob maligning the U.S. side for having too many non-homegrown starters out of 11, and then someone showed that most of the UEFA counties had at least double of that in numbers.
Belgium is having the overall better of the play, but Iran has not played like wallflowers at all.
Except about 60% of the crowd is pro-Iranian...The Iranian government can suck it but the Iranian players are Jesse Owens in Berlin.
This groups is nuts- on paper it should have been an easy walk through for Belgium. But two ties.... Either New Zealand or Egypt can really take a big lead later.BEL 0 - 0 IRN

It would be huge for the USMNT as the winner of this group would be the R16 opponent. (assuming both teams win R32)This groups is nuts- on paper it should have been an easy walk through for Belgium. But two ties.... Either New Zealand or Egypt can really take a big lead later.
This is probably the best resource. Has a few in-house stories as well as links to other media.Hey Spartanforlife4- I keep seeing ads about MSU doing the turf for this WC- have you gotten any articles about this from MSU? I'm interested in reading them. I remember back that MSU also developed the turf for the Silverdome's games. This year isn't as harsh as that, but it's still really tough.
And the NFL players are asking a lot of questions why the turf can't stay.
