After a 0-0 tie in regulation and both OTs, Stanford women beat UNC in penalty shots 5-4 to win the NCAA title.

It breaks a NCAA title drought in any sport for Stanford that had lasted almost 4 hours.

Oh god, that's two in a row again. If they win next time, that's a streak.

Didn't they win 100 in a row or something like that about a decade ago?

They're awful like UConn women's hoops is awful. They're not a team, they're a hedge fund.

Edit: the 100 in a row was in the early 90s. I am old.

They’ve won 21 out of 38. And Runner-Up 5-6 times.

Charlotte is officially #30 but will enter as #28 in 2021.

2020: Nashville and Miami
2021: Austin and Charlotte
2022: St. Louis and Sacramento

Yes, it's a great city. If I could live anywhere in CA it would be there.

Sacramento is everything the peninsula pretends to be, at half the price and with 100x nicer people.
