Looks like we went from Step 1 to 3 on the anti-discrimination steps, but I don't think anyone cares that they skipped 2. Would've been better off just ending that at 90 and forgetting stoppage time.

Taylor Twellman and his followers are not happy about the rehire fwiw.

Oh and this tweet:

This game had everything. Red cards. Clashes. Blood. Ripped shirts. Weston McKennie’s nipple. Blonde Gio Reyna. Pulisic brace. Just another day in USA vs. Mexico. #USAvMEX #USMNT #Concacaf

I will say I agree that it’s pretty stupid to wait six months just to bring him back, but the USSF also hired a completely new Sporting Director who decided to do that.

Is there no merit to that reply?
No idea (I don’t pay much attention to the Bundesliga and definitely not Derek Rae’s Tweets) but it’s a reply that is very indicative of the “No! You are the one who is wrong!” culture around US Soccer when anyone foreign criticizes a US Player.

I will admit to being guilty of it at times and it is not without merit as the English press is pretty vehemently anti-American, but Pulisic and Reyna and McKennie etc. are also not as good as people think.

United States captain and veteran defender Becky Sauerbrunn will not be included in the squad for the Women's World Cup because of a foot injury she suffered in April, sources confirmed to ESPN.

Sauerbrunn, who won two World Cups with the USWNT, suffered a setback in her return to the Portland Thorns FC on June 3, sources said.

Sauerbrunn is one of several injured American players to miss the tournament, which kicks off July 20 in Australia and New Zealand, after attacker Mallory Swanson went down with a knee injury in April.

Midfield stalwarts Sam Mewis and Catarina Macario are also sidelined
