Weird tradition, but I appreciate the British teams playing My Country 'Tis of Thee before football matches.
I always assumed it was one of those tunes we ripped off from them in 1780.

How do you say Tottenham in German?
Dortmund.
Yup. Dortmund drew at home while Bayern won and Bayern won the title on goal difference.Does this mean they f-cked it and Bayern has their 10-spot or whatever?
It's Bayern' 11th in a row.
Luton Town beat Coventry City on penalties to win the 'richest game in football' and advance to the EPL next year.
Their pitch seems to be the English Soccer equivalent to Wrigley Field pre-renovations =)
Not a good start for Leeds trying to stay in the PL. Tottenham goes up 1-0 90 seconds in.
Who is in the drop zone?
Champions to relegation in 7 years.Leicester, Leeds, Southampton, off to the Championship.
Surprising to read 5,000 is the minimum needed for Premier League. I figured it would be at least 10 or 15,000. 5,000 is like playing in a D3 football stadium in the Big Ten.
US U20s currently up 4-0 on New Zealand in the Round of 16. They'll play the winner of Uruguay and Gambia in the Quarterfinals.
Usually the best talent is made available, this year was a weird confluence of an early start for this tournament and an unusual late end for the major Euro season.I can't say I've followed this tournament in the past, but is there any reason to feel success at the U20 can translate to future success with the USMNT, or is it more the best U20 talent globally isn't made available for this event?
