Never graduate.
Oh darn. We won’t see soccer on ESPN for months now…
Yeah, I hate it when the sport gets exposure on the #1 sports network in America.

It was never about soccer. ESPN doesn’t give a s- about soccer these days.Yeah, I hate it when the sport gets exposure on the #1 sports network in America.

(TBF, they don’t give a s- about anything not named the NFL or NBA)
Is it helpful though? That’s what I doubt. This is just the mouse promoting “synergy” with their reality show and rights to a competition that they’re likely going to shed in a year or two anyway. It really does nothing for the game in this country, unless you count already rich American/Canadian owners getting slightly more money.Whether or not they care if the sport is aired then that's exposure.

It depends on the case.So you're saying there is nothing to be gained from airing soccer on ESPN?
Are we asking this question now, after years on Versus/NBC built back the attention to garner a decent contract, or in 2004 when they offered peanuts?Ask the NHL if it would rather go back to Versus or be featured on ESPN.
So uh...Leeds score in the opening minute. Theatre of Dreams indeed.
It depends on the case.
MLS? Sure.
Wrexam? Not really.
Another reminder that US Soccer is actually a pretty well run organization:
Canada Soccer threatens to sue Canadian Soccer Players Association if they don't play in SheBelieves Cup.
US has officially qualified for the 2026 World Cup as FIFA confirms all three hosts will be given autobids.
With eleven billion teams now in the WC, yeah, I think they got room for three autobids.
Picture quality is miles ahead of what was on ESPN and Fox. Graphics are very minimalist and clean.Looks like we'll get the first glimpse of MLS on AppleTV as they're broadcasting a couple of preseason matches, Orlando vs New England and LA Galaxy vs Toronto.
