Well, yes. But, Mexico has El Salvador at Azteca in the last match of qualifiers. Now, if Honduras won by something like 2-0 tonight...
I mean the way Mexico is playing...

Games like these make me sad the game has evolved past having "fuck around and find out" CDMs like Gattuso and Makelele. Pulisic and Reyna could use a guy like Kyle Beckerman to protect them.

I had all but forgotten that he bitch-slapped Ibrahimovic until you mentioned his name.

Kinda amazing how at the end of the cycle, the 3 expected ones are all going to wind up in the top 4 (USA, Mex, CR). Canada is the only real surprise.

Costa Rica was dead in November and has won 5 out of their last 6 to put themselves back into at least fourth.

So, I'm not sure if you saw my question earlier, but theoretically, could the US forfeit its game against Costa Rica to ensure qualification? The rule says 3-0, but is there another rule that would allow FIFA/CONCACAF to put Costa Rica ahead of the US?
FIFA or CONCACAF could disqualify them. That happened to Chile in 1990 when their goalkeeper used a razor to cut himself after a flare landed near him, they were also banned from 1994 too.
