Interesting... Our new neighbors just moved in today. I won't reveal who he is, but he plays quite regularly for a team whose name rhymes with Schmalaxy. Seems like a wonderful, down to earth, humble guy, and his wife is great, too.

namedropper!!;)

With man city adding de bruyne...dare i say they are a lock to win the title given the start they are off to.

I always figured they were in Oceania with all the other island nations.

It would be great if they could get to the 3rd round, but it also looks like they've played the two weakest teams in their group so far, and got destroyed by Iran.

Brazil not so gently putting us in our place...

Re: World Soccer XXVI: Fun for MLS Fans and Eurosnobs Alike

Jermaine Jones came off as a sub and looked to have some sharp words for Klinsmann.

Re: World Soccer XXVI: Fun for MLS Fans and Eurosnobs Alike

Sales of #9 MU jerseys just took off. Martial (2nd half sub) makes a couple of nifty moves and deposits the ball just inside the far post. 3-1 MU over Liverpool

Re: World Soccer XXVI: Fun for MLS Fans and Eurosnobs Alike

Seattle, LA, and DC have all qualified for the Quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions League along with Querétaro of Mexico.

The other four haven't been determined yet but RSL and Club America are heavy favorites right now. Only close ones are with Tigres and Herdiano in Group B and Santos Laguna and Saprissa in Group A.

But MLS looks to have a good shot of going 4/4 (well 4/5 but Seattle and Vancouver were in the same group).

did you see the story about them changing the CCL schedule so that group stage would be in spring and knockout stage in fall?

Yeah. It'll be interesting to see if they go through with it. Doesn't really effect most of the other leagues as they just operate on a split season but it would help MLS teams immensely.
