Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

Peter Crouch?

Of all the people to have a hat trick (with at least one not off his ugly head), Peter Crouch?

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

Fulham 6-0 Port Vale (Gera 2, Zamora 2, Dembele, Dempsey)

Ouch. I'm feeling a little bit bad about this at this point.

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

Real Salt Lake and Cruz Azul playing in a monsoon it seems, giant puddles all over the field. RSL up 2-1 at the half.

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

Possible history in the making right now, go to Fox Soccer Channel. Real Salt Lake up 3-1 on Cruz Azul with 25 minutes left...

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

Now it's 4-3 Cruz Azul. Well Real Salt Lake goes the way of every other MLS team, Altitude and Smog are a b.

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

5-4 Cruz Azul now. Crazy and unlucky for RSL.

edit: it's a final.

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

Seattle and Monterrey are 0-0 about 12 minutes in. Sounders have radio with some nice commentary at here. Just click on the KIRO 93.7 link.

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

Dammit!

I'm getting sick of these Mexican clubs.
They are the only ones with major TV money to spend on the South American talent that makes their league tops. It's not gonna be an easy process for anybody to eclipse them and the new CL format has only made harder for everybody else.
