He's been trying to draw fouls on Ghana. Most other teams do it a lot.

I'm well aware of the diving most teams do, I was just wondering if Dempsey actually did that regularly as well, or if it was something new.

Looking at the goal replay, they should of just knocked him down before he got to the box. Sure maybe its a yellow/red card, but its not a penalty shot and not a goal.

Bocenegra tried to do that, and then gave up when he didn't. He lowered the shoulder into the guy on the run.

So we gave up goals 4 minutes in, 5 minutes in, 15 minutes in, and 3 minutes into extra time, and almost gave one up 6 minutes into the other game. Nice defense, guys.
