Re: World Soccer XV: Diver Down

Altidore almost scores falling down. Dempsey taken down and the US gets a free kick.

When does the US use it's 3rd sub?

IfBradley's smart, he doesn't at this point. Save it for extra time or an injury, if needed.

Re: World Soccer XV: Diver Down

Altidore looks like he is hurt, can't quite run as fast as he normally does. I did see him holding his leg in the first half.

Re: World Soccer XV: Diver Down

The referees owe us after the last two games...now would be a good time for them to pay up :D

Oh ****....Ghana have a corner at the death.

****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: World Soccer XV: Diver Down

Apparently the US plays the first half of extra time just like the first half of the game..

Unfortunately the second half of extra time isn't as long as the second half of a game...

Re: World Soccer XV: Diver Down

We quite simply don't have the quality defenders yet to take it to the next level.

Re: World Soccer XV: Diver Down

Question: does Dempsey writhe on the ground every single time he's taken down? Every time he's hit the ground tonight, he's looked like he broke a leg, or something.

He's been trying to draw fouls on Ghana. Most other teams do it a lot.
