Because the way the question was worded basically would've required him to say Findlay and Clark sucked -- which they did, but he can't say that.

There are many ways he could have put the blame on his own shoulders without calling out individual players directly.

But you know what, if you're a professional athlete and you can't handle being indirectly associated with a coach questioning his own decisions when you played like garbage....then you're pretty much a pansy and shouldn't be playing sports.

The US would have done the same thing.

Until FIFA steps in and cracks down on it, everyone is going to keep doing it.

We'd slow down play, yes.

We wouldn't have a guy lie on the grass dead without even being touched.

Correct, but the referee gave us the full three minutes that we should have got from that. So, as much as it sucked, I can't complain about it.
