Maybe part of this is because the French just don't deserve to be there and the soccer gods are telling them so.

Somewhere the Irish team is really happy or really disappointed that the cheaters don't even want to be in the WC. Pretty sure they would have put up more of a fight than this.

ESPN had a French journalist on to talk about the trouble in the France team, and the journalist quoted Anelka directly. Oops

Why is it that the most well known players are the biggest dive artists? C. Ronaldo, pretty much all of the italians, drogba, most of the brazilians....

I think there were actually 2 hand balls on Fabiano and one on an Ivory Coast guy on that play.

The choices are:
1) the best players get extra benefits from the officials
2) everybody cheats, prominent players are most obvious
3) fan envy/hatred of opposing stars

Probably a balance of all three.
