ok Ian Darke is annoying me with all of the comments about how horrible the booing is for Suarez. I don't think there is anything wrong with what Suarez did but if I was from Africa I would be booing too and I'd have every right to because Suarez (and Gyan) cost Africa a team in the semifinals. :rolleyes:

I think he should just say nothing about it. He made his opinion known, now he should stop saying anything.

Besides the fact that he's sucking, his all-white kit is making Muslera look like an Oompa-Loompa.

When Loew leapt off the bench there, Ian missed a great chance to throw a Monty Python reference in there: "I'm not dead yet."

Also, they should probably have just included the words: "Why bother? We're going to win anyway." on that Brazil logo.

Regarding Ian Darke, this is the point I was trying to make this morning about why I don't like him. He grabs an issue, gets mad about it and rants the rest of the broadcast. :rolleyes:

I did like when Darke asked Harkes if the Germans just made too many changes to be effective today and then the Germans scored thirty seconds later.

I did see some guys wearing Ireland shirts. The Irish dancers came out during a parade and they yelled HANDBALL at a guy dressed as Napoleon.

I could've also dressed as Wellington.

As for the game, Germany's keeper has the last name Butt. (Cue Beavis and Butt-head laugh.)

I don't want to wade into this discussion again, but if Suarez had gone up to Gyan after he scored and cold cocked him, would he have only gotten a one game ban? I think what he did was worse than cold cocking a guy.


If a person wants to argue that red and yellow cards shouldn't have a further suspension or cumulation attached to them, I might agree with that, but if you are going to have suspensions and bans, this offense deserved a harsher one.

Big difference if you ask me, but in the other direction. It was called and played out just as it should have been. His punishment after the fact has NO impact on the outcome of the game. He received the worst punishment and Ghana blew it in epic fashion.
