I'll throw that out there. Lake Forest should maybe be above River Falls...but I'm not puttin them there. This next week should tell the the tale of River Falls. Tuesday-vs Gustavus, Eau Claire this weekend, then St Thomas next Tuesday...they come thru unscathed and they have returned to form!

Very tough week to rate. RIT plays too strong games, but only gets 1 of 4 points. Middlebury loses 3 games to 3 top 10 teams, (2) in OT - one on a penalty shot, and the game against Platts was tied with less that 3 mins to go and Platts scored on a Powerplay. Amherst loses a tough one to Elmira who seems to be playing well right now. Trinity playing well, with much thanks to their goalie, and are back to the form of 2 years ago. Unfortunately, with Manhattanville and Norwich, their competition in the East is not as strong, so it is hard to tell how good they are on a consistent basis. Lake Forest probably should be a little higher, but losing to UMB was tough. It looks like they ran into a hot goalie for that one game, and maybe they should not drop as far as most have them. We will have to see how they do in the next few months. River Falls too could move up, as they will have some big games coming with GAC and Lake Forest. I am really looking forward to the second half of the season. Good luck and good health to everyone!!

If I have this right Elmira is still 11-3-1

Lake Forest did not lose or tie(inactive)Still 9-1-2 with the fluke to UMASS(still a better record than Middlebury and a better record than RIT 7-2-3)

M'Ville only 9-3-0 regardless of who they crushed:D

and the WEST is way underrated regardless of how many titles they don't have:)

Lake Forest Would Lose To Elmira Buy A Touchdown...sorry.
You Cant Lose To Umass Boston And Be Top 5 In The Country. Lake Forest Is A Nice Story And Should Be In Top 10 In Country,to Have Them Ahead Of Elmira, middlebury, rit, mville Is Just Plain Silly.

Has Middlebury beaten a ranked team?

I'd like to move RF up but beating St. Catherine doesn't really prove anything considering they haven't really played any ranked teams.

Good point, but I think you meant to say has Middlebury or RIT beaten a ranked team?;)

Re: Women's DIII 2009-2010 Fan Opinion Poll

Fair enough, at least RIT has managed a couple ties with ranked teams.

You know what they say about ties......I hope you don't have an ugly sister!!;) Both teams have to find a way to win the close one's before the year is out.
