Wisconsin Women's Hockey 2023-2024

So many grade A chances and just the 1 ppg. Simms 0 for 3 all alone opportunities. The bsu goalie is playing great.

Today's game was the fifth in row that Woz has missed in its entirety along with a substantial portion of a 6th in which the injury responsible for the streak occurred. I may have missed it, but does anyone have any information about the nature of the injury and when she might return? Or is she perhaps done for the season? Merci.

Woz has a shoulder injury. She should be back this weekend agaist the gophers.

That's great to hear! I like seeing Gorbatenko get some consistent line mates and ice time, but get nervous whenever someone skates off holding their wrist, or hunched, or otherwise "slow to get off the ice" knowing we don't have depth in the F position.

It sure looks like to me that OB is playing at the highest level I've ever seen her play at. I think she's getting into the Pankowski/Roque level of willing the team to win with her play.

Who has a fifth year of eligibility and which of them, if any, will use it? Which members of the current squad are headed to the transfer portal after the season?

As best I know, the only players whose eligibility runs out are Chayla Edwards, Britta Curl, and Anna Wilgren. Everyone else has at least one more year of eligibility.

2020-21 freshmen like Kotlowski, Wheeler and O'Brien could conceivably graduate and decline to use their COVID year; we'll see next week if any include themselves in 'Senior Day' activities.

WCHA first round tickets go on-sale next Monday morning, Feb 19th.

Game times set at 5 PM Friday, Friday March 1, and 4 PM Saturday March 2nd (also 4 PM if there's a Sunday game)

Note that the UW men are home playing Michigan State Friday and Saturday nights. The reason for the early start time Friday (I expected earlier) and parking/traffic, etc etc
