Great win last night for Bucky.
Some of you may disagree but I think John Mitchell has really played well and finally is showing some play making ability that we have been waiting for from him. Bendickson and Mitchell are making the 3rd line something that other teams are going to have to game plan for. And the Bomber is finally getting some solid play around him.

I agree with your assessment on Mitchell. He's been making some plays around the net and using his size to his advantage while not committing the stupid penalties that he's been known to commit.

B Smith's coast to coast almost goal was amzing it was to bad Blake couldn't have knocked it home. It was sad to think that this was the last time I will see a lot of these players in person wearing the Wisconsin jersey. What a great year of home games A LOT of goals were scored at the Kohl.

Yeah it was nice to see Bohmbach on the third line where he belongs. The line look totally different with him in there as opposed to Johnson. Saying that, Eaves probably puts Patty back on the 3rd line next weekend for reasons unknown.

It was a great win last night, the 2nd period was very troubling though. No way should they have let UA-A back in that game and that wide open net goal that Goody gave up was a HUGE mistake on his part. The Badgers looked very flat in the 2nd period.
That 5 on 3 PP that they killed was pretty awesome though and they scored some great goals.
It was nice to see Geoffrion get 2 goals and 1 assist.
All in all, it was a fun game. Ive said it before and Im gonna say it again: the student section never ceases to amaze me. Im not sure which chant I liked more: "seasons over" or "thank you, seniors".

He didn't even take it wide coast to coast just right up the middle through everyone that is what made me say WOW! I am sure he will be playing for the Red Wings at some point next year. He has the potential to put some big time numbers up in the pros. McDon will be wearing a pro jersey at some point next year as well. I am sure if he left last year he would be playing for the Rangers currently. It is just great to be able to watch them play every week we as UW fans are lucky.
Patty is lucky that they have cages on or he would get beat down in a fight with all the chippy things he pulls. I would say the same for Clark for UAA. They both would be looking like this

The pp is still ugly. 2 for 17 on the weekend will get them sent home in the ncaa's. On of those goals, 1 was on the rush and 1 was a seeing eye wrister not scored off a set play. Where's the bing-bang-boom goals? Thye need to move the puck quicker and pass off the pass and shoot off the pass.
It's great the boys can sit back and relax today. It's gonna be a fun night to be on the scoring updates board. I'm rooting for Kato, CC and the sue, though I hope the sue/rodent game goes like 4 ot's.

Agreed. I think he spends to much time trying to play the puck behind the net, especially when he risks giving up an easy goal if he or one of the Badgers turn over the puck behind the net.

I'll agree with this too. However, I think Bennett plays with the puck a lot more, which always makes me very nervous! I think Goody is going to play excellent for the rest of the post-season.
