Looks like FSN in Wisconsin has elected to show high school hockey instead of the WCHA semi final on Friday night, and the Bucks vs. Nuggets game instead of the Championship game on Saturday night.

I'm guessing that FCS will pick up the FSN-North feed. But what about the rest of us, who don't pay for the extra sports package on their cable service?
Unless FSN-WI has a second feed or WPT has a secret stash of money that we don't know about, the vast majority of us are going to be SOL.

I, like many fans, tend to dwell on what need to get better on the team for them to succeed. I've been looking at the player stats and I guess some of the numbers this team is putting up have really snuck up on me on the positive side of the ledger.
Stepan has 35 assists. I didn't realize he had so many.
Davies has 48 points. He could very easily eclipse the Eaves era record of Pav's 56 points. Last yeat he had 23 points. What a great improvement.
4 UW players have 40 plus points. That hasn't happened since.....? I'm guessing 89-90, maybe 91-92. UW could end up with 3 guys in the 50 point range by the end of this run. (Davies 48, Stephan 45, B Smith 44)
C Smith has 29 points as a freshman. He's gonna be 50 pointer when he skates with 1st Star next year.
I think I for one need to take a step back and really appreciate the offensive renaissance of this year, especially when you look back and see Joudrey leading the team with 29 points one year and and another year Borque led with 27. Turris only had 35 points.
What a great year. So far. Finish the job boys.

I mean Saturday is understandable- frustrating as heck, but understandable. Friday though, is a definite ***? moment. They choose to show high-school hockey game that happened 2 weeks ago over a high level college game happening live??
I'm sure there will be plenty of streams on justin.tv, still disappointing though.

Given the quantity and quality of **** stirring that boy did, I thought it was funny. My 7 year old son was down watching warmups with his nose to the glass, and Clark gave him a playful facewash with his glove to the glass. When he came up afterwords, I told him to keep an eye on his new BFF. Clark did not disappoint at all. Everytime something was stirring he was in the middle of it. Dissappointing that the refs missed his 2 cross checks to Goloubef before Goloubef retaliated and got called for the only minor. Good news is that incenced the Badger faithful and Clark found his way to the box shortly after.

ditto so did I, doubt it will do anything or even get a response from those plugs but its a terrible situation thats for sure. I hope FCS will pick up the games

While watching the UM-NoDak game last evening, there was a commercial indicating the WCHA Final 5 will be televised on FCS. If you have Time Warner Cable, just add the digital sports package for $5 per month. Since you are under no contractual obligation, you can always cancel it next month if you wish.

Its not just a meaningless quote when people say this is the deepest team in the country and the deepest team that we have had here at madison in a long time. I had a feeling it was going to be like this, this season and i kinda knew some players like Bendickson and Bohmbach would be up there in point production just because it seems every year we have a couple upperclassmen that come out out and produce. Last year it was gorowsky and mitchell, the difference this year is the top guys are performing even better then last season
It was good to see the defense play better this weekend, specially goloubef who has struggled the last 10 or so games. I thought he and schultz played there best hockey sense the first half and they need to keep it up.
Congrats to Gudmandson as well, great weekend in net.

Id still take Gudmanson on a bad day over Bennett on a good day. Goody is by far the better of the 2 goalies.

Exactly. Thats why the Kohl is one of the best venues in all of college hockey. I think its great that all over the country its a well-known fact that when you step onto the ice at the Kohl that the crowd is going to be loud, involved and are going to try to get into your head.
Not, but considering some of the cheap shots that Clark was taking; Im OK with the student section verbally abusing him.
