Re: Wisconsin Badgers 2015-2016
Sellouts...are kind of a bad thing. It will kill the walk-up sales for games that don't sell out because people may assume the games are sold out and not do the walk-up thing. On the other hand, why would you do the walk up thing since buying on line is so easy?
People really need to skooch together on these sellout games so more people can actually sit down. I guess that's the flaw in non-reserved seating.
The line adjustments have been great. Wellhausen and Shaver both seem to be touching the puck more and Cogan is awesome with Panny and Clark.
The D nixed all those breakaway issues they had against St. Cloud, it was rock solid all weekend, though they did play the worst team in the league.
I got on the nerves of a Mankato Mom this weekend.
Naturally my enthusiasm was well within the acceptable practices of UW hockey and good sportsmanship, I just don't shut up. I was shocked when she chose to sit right behind me again Sunday after Saturday's game. She even threw a gum wrapper at me, LOL. I was sure to be complimentary of Mankato when they made a nice play, I can be objective in the heat of battle. Her hubby and other daughter didn't say boo during either game.
I did not know I witnessed history seeing the 31 sog in the 3rd period, setting a UW record. I though the Duggan/Knight teams would have easily done that against Lindenwood - research shows they did indeed have 30 sog once against Lindenwood, had 72 in that game.
