Re: Winter Weather 2017-18 where EVERYONE argues.

3 inches of snow forecast for Atlanta tomorrow. How Atlanta residents will respond tonight:

Same in New Mexico. We lived out there for 5 years and those yahoos would be spinning out and cars off the road in a ditch when there'd be a half inch of snow.

Whoa. I just saw a weather map showing 8-12 inches tonight where I live. The people here have a seizure if they see a flake.

I think I'm gonna go home soon. I'll watch the Traffic Follies on the news with hot cocoa, thanks.

To the southerners:

What's the difference between a "Freeze Warning" and a "Hard Freeze Warning" down there*?
Those two are posted for parts of Louisiana tonight.

*I'm pretty sure I'd call either of those "November". ;)

Freeze Warning – Widespread sheltered temperatures are forecast to be at or below 32 °F (0 °C) in the next 12 to 24 hours during the locally defined growing season. A freeze may occur with or without frost

Hard Freeze Warning – Widespread temperatures at or below 28 °F (−2 °C) during the growing season. A hard freeze may occur with or without frost

Girl I knew in college: "Men are like blizzards, you never know how much you're gonna get or how long it's going to last."
Me: "You may call me Ice Age."

Wait until you wake up. The white stuff starts falling in the DC Metro area around 4 AM.

That's about when Marion Berry comes home from the parties, right? /oldjoke
