And none of them realize these labels are just marketing hooks to get them each to preen and buy things. Gullibility: it bridge the generation gap.

The funniest part of this is that Boomers created the generational labels and they cash the checks from them.
 
Salman Rushdie was attacked on stage prior to a lecture in Western New York. No word on his condition, but the blood splatter in one of the photos didn't make it look good.

I use this all the time at work. If I ask, "How much do you think it will cost your department to do X?" I get back nothing but I-don't-knows and it-depends and I-don't-have-time-to-think-about-that-right-now. If I say, "I think it will cost $10M for your department to do X," then I get instantaneous, high-fidelity feedback for all the reasons it will cost $20M instead of $10M, which is exactly what I needed in the first place.
