Re: What if every team made the tournament?
how long does it take to simulate a game?

Next set of games...
#25 Wisconsin @ #8 Minnesota Duluth
#20 Harvard @ #13 Western Michigan
#43 Bowling Green @ #11 Denver
#39 Alaska @ #6 Ferris State
That simulator is flawed. Minnesota beat Sacred Heart 9-0 and 6-0 earlier this year, and you're telling me that Minnesota only wins 7-1 in the rematch?![]()
Action is underway in the next set of games...
In Duluth, the Bulldogs and Badgers are scoreless through 1.
In Kalamazoo, Western Michigan is up on Harvard 2-1 through 1.
In Denver, the Pioneers and the Falcons are scoreless through 1.
In Big Rapids, Alaska has a 1-0 lead through 1.
UPDATE!
In Duluth, the game is still 0-0 through 2.
In Kalamazoo, the Broncos have extended the lead to 3-1 after 40 minutes.
In Denver, the scoreboard is still 0-0 after the second period.
In Big Rapids, Ferris State scored twice in the second to take a 2-1 lead through 2.
Every team does make the tournament - just like every citizen makes the government.

The Badgers and the Bulldogs are going to overtime in Duluth. Wisconsin scored what they thought was the game winner towards the end of regulation, but Duluth tied it up in the waning seconds to force overtime.
In Kalamazoo, we have a final:
Western Michigan - 4
Harvard - 2
Harvard pulled within 1 early in the third, but Western put the game away with a late third period goal, and the Broncos hung on to the 4-2 lead for the victory.
In Denver, the game remains scoreless through regulation, and the Pioneers and the Falcons are headed to overtime.
In Big Rapids, Alaska has stormed back to tie the game at three, and the Nanooks and Bulldogs are headed to overtime. Ferris State scored a third straight goal midway through the third to give FSU a 3-1 lead, but Alaska pulled their goalie and scored twice in the final minutes of regulation to tie the game.
The final games for the day are up next:
#17 Merrimack @ #16 Northern Michigan
#26 UnionColgate @ #7 Minnesota
#34 Yale @ #263 Union
#35 Michigan Tech @ #2 Michigan
In Marquette, it is scoreless through 20 minutes.
At Mariucci, the Gophers have a 1-0 lead nearing the end of the 1st.
In Schenectady, Union and Yale are tied at 2 through 1.

Updates in the late games...
In Marquette, the Wildcats scored midway through the second, but Merrimack answered just before the end of the period, and they are tied at 1 through 2.
At Mariucci, Colgate dominated the second period, scoring three times to take a 3-1 lead after 40 minutes.
In Schenectady, Yale is up 4-3 after back to back goals in the final minutes of the second period.
In Ann Arbor, Michigan leads Michigan Tech 2-1 late in the 2nd.
Considering UAH's short NCAA history, that's about right for us, too.![]()
That's ok we've been a 3rd period team all year... minus the complete and total meltdown the other night.![]()
And just as I type that, Minnesota scores to make it 4-2. Almost halfway into the third...
