The players are out on the ice for the early game warmups...

Today's Action:
Early Game: #1 Boston College vs. #13 Western Michigan
Late Game: #5 Miami vs. #10 Maine

EDIT: UPDATE!
Boston College leads Western Michigan 2-1 through 20 minutes

DOUBLE EDIT: UPDATE!!
Western Michigan storms back in the second period, and is now up 4-2 over BC with just 20 minutes left to play.

TRIPLE EDIT: UPDATE!!!
We have a final from the opener...
Boston College - 7
Western Michigan - 5

The Eagles scored two goals early in the third to tie the game, but Western scored to take a 5-4 lead midway through the period. No problem for #1 BC, as the Eagles rallied to tie the game with about 5 minutes left, took the lead soon after, and added an empty netter to get the 7-5 win.

The Late game has started, and Maine is up 1-0 on Miami midway through the 1st.

QUADRUPLE EDIT: UPDATE!!!!
Miami has come back to take a 2-1 lead late in the 2nd. The RedHawks scored back to back goals midway through the 2nd.

QUINTUPLE EDIT: UPDATE!!!!!
Maine scores midway through the 3rd to tie the game at 2.

FINAL EDIT: UPDATE!
Miami - 3
Maine - 2

The Redhawks score in the waning minutes to take a 3-2 lead. Maine tried valiantly to get the equalizer, but it was not to be.

The Final is in...
Boston College - 4
Miami - 1

BC dominated the game from the opening faceoff, taking a 1-0 lead early in the first. Another goal just before the period ended had BC up 2-0 through 20 minutes. The second period saw the Eagles take a 3-0 lead midway through the period before Miami scored to pull within 2 in the final minutes of the second. The third period was dominated by the Eagles, and when they scored with just minutes left to make it a 4-1 game, the Redhawks were unable to recover.

Congratulations to the Boston College Eagles...the College Hockey Weekly 2012 What If National Champions.

Well it wasn't gonna be Miami...even in an simulated alternate universe.
