Re: WCHA Thread IV

IIRC, the National team has a camp this upcoming weekend prior to their departure for four nations. Are there any Nat Team players on the Whitecaps. If so they could be missing as a result.

Wasn't that supposed to take place in NYC? If so, it's probably going to have to be moved, or cancelled. I haven't checked the USA Hockey site.

Re: WCHA Thread IV

Originally supposed to start Nov 1. College players did not need to report. IIRC it was moved to a different location and delayed by one day. Can't seem to find the article anymore.

Re: WCHA Thread IV

Nice to see Taylor Kuehls' name again. Had a stellar HS career in MN. Has already eclipsed her season total of 3 goals as a freshman.

Re: WCHA Thread IV

Thanks for the kind words regarding Taylor Kuehl. We're thrilled that she is a Buckeye. She certainly had a big weekend against Bemidji State. The reason we have had success so far is because we have had a number of kids step up and contribute offensively. Taylor has been one of many who have really stepped it up this season. We have a big series this weekend at St. Cloud. It's been a nice season so far, but we need to keep it going. We have to bring our A game against everyone to be successful.

Re: WCHA Thread IV

Buckeyes up 2-0 at St. Cloud State midway through the first period. Goals were scored by Kari Schmitt and Taylor Kuehl. Assists went to Minttu Tuominen and Paige Semenza on Schmitt's goal. Danielle Gagne and Ally Tarr assisted on Taylor Kuehl's goal.

Re: WCHA Thread IV

Buckeyes win a hard-fought game, 3-2. St. Cloud State tied the game up in the third period 2-2, but Tina Hollowell scored the game-winning goal in the third period for the Buckeyes.

Re: WCHA Thread IV

Ohio State @ St. Cloud State I believe the Buckeyes will take two from the travel-weary Huskies.

Minnesota @ Minnesota-Duluth UMD has been tough to score against, but the Gophers will find ways and prevail in both.

Minnesota State @ Wisconsin Pains me to say it, but I think Bucky sweeps at home.

Clarkson @ North Dakota Should be a great series. I'm going with a split.

Also...the Whitecaps are at Bemidji for an exhibition on Thurs. the 1st. Just about impossible to predict the outcome of any game involving the Whitecaps, as you never know if enough players will show up. Assuming they have at least three lines of forwards and two sets of D, I think they will squeak out a win.

Well you knew that I just HAD to come back here and brag a little...as I somehow managed to get them all right* this weekend! :)<grabbing opportunity to pat self on back because it'll probably never happen again>;)

*(other than the Whitecaps exhibition game, which I figure like the game itself shouldn't count here either!

Nice job there D2D! And congrats to my Buckeyes on sweeping St. Cloud on the road! A sweep on the road isn't a given in this league!

That's for sure, Mr. 86! Our Gophers are obviously doing great, but your Buckeyes are exceeding expectations as well!

Best of luck to your team the rest of the way....

Re: WCHA Thread IV

Maine @ Bemidji State Beavers win both!

Lindenwood @ St. Cloud State And likewise for the Huskies!

Re: WCHA Thread IV

Returning to a full conference slate this weekend:

North Dakota @ Bemidji State

Wisconsin @ Ohio State

Minnesota-Duluth @ St. Cloud State

Minnesota State @ Minnesota

Will the Huskies add to their winning streak? I certainly hope so myself.

Badgers @ Buckeyes one to watch. I'd like to see those games.

Hope the returning Team USA Gophers are rested and ready. As always, the Mavs will be upset minded.

Time for the Beavers to get something going. I think UND outscores them though...

North Dakota @ Bemidji State Split

Wisconsin @ Ohio State Wisconsin

Minnesota-Duluth @ St. Cloud State UMD

Minnesota State @ Minnesota does it need to be said?
