The start of the 3rd is slightly delayed because some morons in the crowd decided to start a fight in the stands. Thats classless no matter who started it.
The delay was caused because one of the zamboni drivers ran into the crowd to help break up the fight.

I agree. Fighting in the stands is just classless. This is something no sport needs, let alone a sport starving for attendance like women's hockey is(at least in St. Cloud).

I would like to thank the SCSU seniors for the years they gave the SCSU fans.
I loved watching them play. I would have dearly wished to see them play on but this weekend it is clear that BSU was the better team. This was a great class for SCSU and all of them will be greatly missed.
So much for finishing 3rd overall. Thats something the seniors can hang there hats on, but its extremely bittersweet for SCSU fans.

So the Beavers will take on UMD and Ohio State faces the Gophers at the Final Face-Off. I'll call it first...UMD and Ohio State final on Sunday.

As a fan of SCSU I have to say go Ohio State and Bemidji State! I would love to see NONE of the "Big 3" in the title game. Its about time we have some party crashers in the WCHA!

So the Beavers will take on UMD and Ohio State faces the Gophers at the Final Face-Off. I'll call it first...UMD and Ohio State final on Sunday.

My condolences to the fine fans of the Huskies.
I'd be quicker to agree with that if SCSU wasn't graduating so many key players. They'll have to retool, as several teams had to this year.
Dave -- you didn't REALLY wear your Gopher gear to St. Cloud, did you?
It could happen. This year, anyone in the WCHA can beat any opponent. Congratulations to the Beavers on their first trip to the semifinals.
