And now the WCHA has Wisconsin's standings points total wrong, crediting a full win instead of an OT win for tonight (Friday) vs Duluth.
They fixed it.And now the WCHA has Wisconsin's standings points total wrong, crediting a full win instead of an OT win for tonight (Friday) vs Duluth.
I'm sure tomorrow's team meeting for Ohio State will be (lmao) FUN.Word on the street is Twsnbn has been mathematically eliminated from winning the regular season crown. Isn't that something.
LOLThey fixed it.
This is funny.LOL
Now they've unfixed it. Again crediting Wisconsin with a full win vs Duluth.
And then in game two complete reversals in three of the four series. Wild weekend.Well that was an interesting night of hockey. Depending on your perspective, only one game went 'according to plan".
This is funny.
USCHO is one point too low on Wisconsin's point total - 64 instead of 65 - failing to credit the 'third point' for the shootout win over St Cloud.
WCHA, in their third (?) mistake of the weekend, has them beating Duluth THREE times this weekend! Showing 68 points, instead of 65. Apparently, they played a double-header yesterday, both games ending 2-1 Wisconsin.
I have a bachelor's in computer science, and worked for 25 years as a firmware programmer. I think I could help them with that problem. LOLif this is automated based on the game results, getting the specific logic of how many points to award into computer code is harder than you might think. Seems like every year there are some flukes with this.
That sounds...like something the tunnelers would do.Anyone recall a game where you only allow 8 sog and lose? At least St. Cloud is secure in their spot in the standings so they probably won't regret it, though it hurts on their chase of UMD, which was a long shot at best before the loss.
Do the tunnelers still have tunnels? Back in the old Williams arena days of hockey there were actual tunnels under the arena. The locker rooms were below ice level connected to the tunnels they used to move steam heat around campus. Locker rooms were terribly hot. At least the visitors locker room was hot. Walking up/down stairs in gear to get to the ice. That sounds...like something the tunnelers would do.
Hmmm, you used to play in Williams arena? Care to shed any more light on your seemingly interesting personal history?Do the tunnelers still have tunnels? There's no reason to doubt Ditra. But maybe he's confessing to a bit of old age.Hmmm, you used to play in Williams arena? Care to shed any more light on your seemingly interesting personal history?
If we look ahead and determine that Bemidji will be playing Wisconsin, how would you like to be 6th and 7th in the WCHA, wondering if you will play either the Gophers or the Buckeyes of Ohio State in the quarterfinals? There are some interesting matchups up to the quarterfinals. This has been an exciting year on a number of levels. I am hyped for what happens the rest of the season. At least St. Cloud is secure in their spot in the standings so they probably won't regret it, though it hurts on their chase of UMD, which was a long shot at best before the loss.
indeed, in addition to the Gopher Way tunnels around campus, there are tunnels between Mariucci (aka "3M Arena at Mariucci") and Ridder Arena. It's how the two arenas share Zambonis. Also a good way to avoid angry mobs after games if you're a zebra.Do the tunnelers still have tunnels? Back in the old Williams arena days of hockey there were actual tunnels under the arena. I'm not doubting at all, I want to learn more. It sounds like there are some interesting stories to be told, even if they are old . I am a history nut. I love perspective. There's no reason to doubt Ditra. But maybe he's confessing to a bit of old age.

I guess so. We'll leave it at that since I got jumped on for bringing up non-women's hockey related topics in the past. But maybe he's confessing to a bit of old age.
Na, don't let a curmudgeon or 2 stop you from saying what you want to say. That one summer a few years ago discussions went in really cool directions.I guess so. We'll leave it at that since I got jumped on for bringing up non-women's hockey related topics in the past.
