He had (maybe still has) Kessel derangement syndrome...

There's no cure for that one. It's just one of those things that I'll have to live with for the rest of my life, like my 200 IQ.

My memories of Raty are also crappy, I feel like Wisconsin never scored a goal against her, but it will never get to the Kessel derangement syndrome level.

Yeah that's pretty crazy that there's a badger and a rodent on the same staff. Of course they didn't ever play against each other.

The old pulling the goalie in a third period on a power play was a interesting play. That really seemed to get the crowd fired up. At least UW scored on the second attempt.

That seems to be Idalski's thing. He did it last year as well; Ahola had to make a layout save at one point when she got caught halfway to the bench.

You did pretty well through the first half of her career, although most of those were during her sophomore year, as she had Olympic team commitments her first season. She did play one game in Madison, that I think was coincidentally one of those "kids days" or whatever that robertearle was describing. Anyway, after the game, she told Frost that it felt like it was "me against all of them." Not the only time that the UM skaters have been AWOL in Madtown.

Idalski is wearing white socks with brown shoes and grey pants lol. Not upholding the Muzzy fashion level. Or even just a regular guy's.

Idalski lobbying hard multiple times for too many players for uw with the change into the o zone. He chewed out the f's mightily earlier in the period. His voices carry.

The third shocking result of the weekend... St
Cloud ties the Badgers, The Badgers win the shootout.

News out of St Thomas... The interim title has been removed from the head coach.

Earlier this year, the WCHA web site had their own standings wrong, mis-assigning the 'third points' in a couple games. And the USCHO web site had it all right.

Right now, the WCHA web site has it right, and it is the USCHO page that didn't award the third point to anyone from the Wisconsin-St Cloud tie this weekend.

I understand the "third point" business can be a little confusing, but it's not THAT hard. LOL

VERY intriguing series this week.

Tommies at Huskies. Tommies are hot, the Huskies are not as good as last year. Hmmmm
M at B. Not so intriguing. M should plaster B.
TWSNBN at Tunnelers. BOOM. This is very intriguing. Tunnelers heading to Mad City next weekend, they better take advantage of a lesser foe this weekend, LOL. Last time out these were close games.
UW at B-Dgs. One team's pride got dinged last weekend, one's pride got donged last week. The Dings were 5-1 and 7-3 winners earlier in the year.

The eye test says Mankato is better than St. Cloud.

Don't bet the rent money on Mankato. Bemidji will split it.

we kept them close early in the season and this team has been jelling. Gophers sweep.

There was at least one time that it was fairly obvious that the sinners had 6 skaters on the ice that I remember...
Not sure if this is what you were referening to - but I do recall one time that the Badgers were doing a very congested line change all close to the bench and it appeared to me the Huskies tossed the puck into that area intentionally trying to hit a Badger to draw a penalty - not sure the legality of that - if it's a penalty, and I have no way of knowing if it was intentional, but seems to me it's a good no call.

If the player coming on the ice touches the puck before the player leaving gets off the ice they will pretty much always call a penalty if the ref sees it. Teams sensing a less than clean exchange will sometime throw the puck toward the bench hoping somebody just puts a stick on it.

Is the stick the factor - or would it be the same as the puck hitting a players skate, hand, back?

I do believe I met MJ's wife Sunday. A nice lady with what looked to have a daughter and granddaughter in tow parked next to me in the lot. She complimented my personalized license plate, HAVF8TH. Then once we got to our seats, all 3 were behind the bench during warm-ups with other assumingly grandkids and kids. I recognized Patrick for sure. It was quite the scene.

MJ's presser was wild today, talk of hitting deer with vehicles and golf analogies. He said he hit a deer once and totaled out his wife car. I don't think a deer would total out the giant Suburban she was driving Sunday.

She was definitely there, with grandkids on the UW bench pre-game. Shorter blondish hair, white winter jacket. She used to sit in the stands frequently in "my" section when Mikayla was playing; I ended up sitting next to her a handful of times. I don't know whose kids were the grandkids, but my guess is maybe son Patrick or Chris.

Ok that was her. Coolio.
