WCHA 21-22 Season

UMD's almost always had OSU's number when they play in Duluth. Always a great series, but the Bulldogs are 71-20-8 all-time against OSU and 10-2 against OSU at home since Crowell's arrival. In that time, UMD's outscored the Buckeyes 45-23. A UMD sweep is almost a given and shouldn't surprise anybody.

Yeah, but if you’re going to tout your #2 ranking, you need to get it in done in hostile territory.
 
Much better period for Wisconsin and they cut the deficit to 2-1. End of the 2nd period. Minnesota's Goaltender should have gotten an assist on the Sinners goal.

UMD takes down the Yuckeyes 5-2.

I would like to thank the Sinner goaltender for the gift of the 3rd goal for Minnesota.

Not a bad night for Gopher men's and women's hockey. Men took down meatchicken on the road and the Women take down the sinners on road.
 
Watts the heck was Blair doing tonight? She's never played that way before. Her screw-up also lead to goal 2 for the rodents. I'm not a happy camper.
 
In other action......BSU wins 4-3 on the road with 3 combined goals in the last 4 minutes of that one for an exciting finish and MSU wins at home 3-1 with a regular goalie in net and not a tennis player.

If it takes OT, it isn't a true sweep, because they don't get all six points. Life in the era of 3-on-3, where statements that we've made for years no longer apply.

It’s a sweep. Win in the 3v3 OT and you’re the winner of the game according to the NCAA. Might not of landed every point but won 2 out of 2 games. Big weekend for the Beavers!
 
Minnesota wins the shootout and takes 5 of 6 point from the Sinners. I did not expect this at all. Pleasantly surprised by how well Minnesota played this weekend. I also thought Wisconsin played better today which made for a terrific game. Very playoff like atmosphere.
