I know some Tech fans are ****ed about the NCHC, but I'm excited for them over the next few years at least. They have the chance to be the top of the new WCHA, along with Mankato. I'd see those two teams battling it out consistently for the league championship and not just because of the other teams leaving. I see Tech as a form of Air Force. They can play with any team for one or two nights of the week, but not consistently. That's all it takes when it gets to a one game series in the NCAAs.

Other than Dirty, I didn't see anyone say anything and if you haven't figured out that he hasn't made a serious post yet, then you've got bigger fish to fry

Tough break on a clean hit for Johnstone. I was saying yesterday that clavicle has to be the second worse bone to break (behind the tailbone). Maybe I should reassess, because a broken sternum or rib is probably worse. Yikes. He has to be in a lot of pain. I hope him the best in recovery.

It is, isn't it? Sure it wasn't the nicest thing to say, but neither is asking what UND players have been arrested this week.

Just a couple drinks in and tired of his ****, regardless of any attempt to be either facetious or sarcastic. It's a semi-annual thing, I guess.

I am sorry for making a snide response to huskyfan's snide post. I should not have made light of Jacob Johnstone's injury. No one, even me the worst piece of sh^t bastard on the board, wants players to be injured. Please forgive me and be my friend.

why the series? How is what he did worth 2 games(potentially)? What he did with the punching was just plain stupid but I don't see how it would be worth more than today.

my stomach turned when I read about Johnstone's injuries. hitting is fine, but like that? to cause injuries like that?

most of you UND fans make me sick too. cheering for hits like this to happen. cheering for a kid going to the hospital. maybe none of you realized how bad the hit was at the time, but our announcers did and called it immediately. trying watching hockey instead of hoping it descends into ritualized violence. bah. Dirty, you are probably one of the funniest posters on the board, but your comment and the following snarky apology are way out of bounds. lack of compassion. a new low for Sioux fans and that's really saying something.

You post this like your own fans don't make light of flooding, mass murder of Native Americans, and wouldn't have made a similar comment were the situation reversed...

seriously, I don't think many of us would make a comment like that.

yeah, we all joke, tease and make light of stuff. uncomfortable so, yes, sometimes. but laughing, joking, sneering at another human beings pain...a kid who is out there playing his heart out so we can be entertained...a line has been crossed and I, for one am uncomfortable with it.
