So the puck was clearly in, why wasn't it reviewed at the next whistle? Did the Tech players or coaches not even realize it went in to say something?

Pearson had them playing an extremely aggressive PK and forecheck, and the Sioux did not figure it out in time.

UND has never lost a WCHA first round series under Hakstol's watch. Will this be a first?

Upon further review, Furne's shot was not a goal. It did in fact hit the nodak defender, and deflect off the back cross bar of the net on the outside before coming back over the net. Watch more closely on the non-overhead view.

Congrats Huskies! It's nice to see Mel turning this team around. I hope UAA has the guts to hire a coach of his caliber.

One of the strangest shots I have ever seen, but I think it does go over the cross-bar hit the back post, on the outside of the net, and ricochets off. No goal.

Sloe Gin (retired poster) and I said UND in 3, win most likely on Sat (for MTU). He's a UND fan, I am not.

The pressure now falls squarely on UND in game three. None of the players on their roster has been in this situation before and they are expected to win. Tech has nothing to lose now because regardless of when it happens, their next loss will mark the end of their season. I see one of two possible scenarios either one team blows the other out by a four or more goal diff. or its a 1-0 (or maybe 2-0 with an empty net goal) game. I don't expect any chippy play from either team unless the score gets out of hand. I see zero chance of what we saw Friday night with high scoring and people on both teams taking cheap shots - too much at stake. It's a one game series now - Go Tech!

Tech has better goaltender better defenseman 1-6 better forward depth 1-12 and a better coaching staff ; stop Kristo and off to final 5.

Also since Dirty hasn't posted yet today, I'll make his prediction for him:

Tech's win on Saturday was hostile and abusive to the Wioux's 14 game WCHA playoff win streak. UND takes the NCAA to court and gets the results of Saturday night thrown out stating that it offended everyone in North Dakota and therefore shouldn't be allowed to stand.
Whioux start a new "Payoff" streak and sweep... in three.

I had UND in 3 in the WCHA pick'em. I mean there is a beer on the line. I would suffer the loss of points if Tech wins and it ends up costing me. Even if it means I have to pay for a beer.
