Re: Ways To Know You're a Division III Fan...

: You think the Hershey Park Arena and the Utica Auditorium are everything that's right about hockey.

: You wish you were back in New York and going to hockey games tonight instead of enjoying 85 degree weather in Arizona.

: You witnessed a game in Phoenix where the Utica Auditorium season's average will exceed the amont of Coyotes fans at the Hawks/Yotes game last night.

Re: Ways To Know You're a Division III Fan...

:Your team is hosting the conference tournament but there's no coverage by the local media because they're covering a girls high school basketball game.

Re: Ways To Know You're a Division III Fan...

You know North Adams State College is somewhere in the Berkshires and there is no interstate highway to get to it!

Stop in and say hello to Fornax while you're out there. Deeth, Nv can't be too far away.

That's a haul. 854 drive miles. For comparison's sake...that's Elmira to St. Norbert on the nuts. Also 854 miles...

: You know that it's 854 miles driving from Elmira, NY to De Pere, WI. :D

You compare the distance from Adrian, MI to Collegeville, MN to the distance from Adrian, MI to Fredonia, NY in order to make a point about the lack of sense in NCAA rules. The worst part is, you care about the result.

Re: Ways To Know You're a Division III Fan...

:When the weekend's games are almost over before the weekend previews get posted on USCHO.

Re: Ways To Know You're a Division III Fan...

: You keep a file listing the mileage as driven in your car from your house and your workplace to every D3 rink you've been to for future reference.

: Then, when you have no more to add, you start taking different routes and record those distances.
