Yeah, that's how I figured they'd do it. Just a bit unfortunate that the Knights and Saints happened to be rock solid again.

You have a few options. They are listed in the SNC thread, as well as being in the weekly notes this week on nchahockey.org. The first two are H2H and NCHA wins.

i guess we hope UW-SP fails to perform all weekend and the Jackets can win saturday's game vs. EC. that happens, we play at RF or Stout first round. but wouldn't a series in Duluth be fun!!!!???

I would take a series at MARS over anywhere else on the road.

Well, it's time to start the play-offs again. Too bad this year it means that there will only be 2 games left in the Jacket's season. 2 and out for the Jackets and then this depressing season will FINALLY come to an end. Not a moment too soon either. At least, with all the young kids on this team, we can look forward to the next few years, but this one, we can all drown out of our memories over at Third Base.

Looking forward to playing the saints. The effort has been there the last month. Things are starting to click for the team. You never know what can happen. Never give up and look to the future, the future will come soon enough. It is time for Jacket pride to rise up and put a good whooping on our friends across the bay. Boy, what a bunch of cliches but it is all true. Time to fire up Goooooo Jackets!!!!!!!!!!!

I seriously doubt that the jackets stand a snowball's chance in hell of getting a win this weekend. They were outscored 13-4 by St. Scholastica this year. These guys can already start making their plans for the following weekend out on the town. Seasons over!

What I saw from UWS earlier in the year was a team that lacked emotion and a will to compete. They came back for the second game and played quite a bit better defensively, and then it sounded like Thursday's game wasn't so bad. CSS is certainly not perfect, but nonetheless the favorite.

February 10th 2007 was the last time UWS took a Win at MARS.

This weekend:
Series goes to Mini-Game and UWS heads to SNC.

Planning their spring break trips, shinning up their golf clubs, or anything else they can to forget this season.

Why waste my time watching this weekend. Don't get me wrong, they will be alot better next season, and for the next few to come. With all the Freshmen they have, they will be back up top real soon. This weekend however, I think I would rather watch Rosie O'Donnell give Oprah a sponge bath. That would end up being far more entertaining that CSS beating the Jackets.

You may be the only one on the planet who would rather watch that. But to each his own, I guess.

Why waste your time? You are right about several things. They have had a bad year. The Saints have dominated them this year. They are young and hopefully you are right about getting back on top in the near future. This playoff series could be very important in setting the tone for the future. The young players will have to learn sooner rather than later what it takes to win in this league and what better time than this weekend? Like I said in an earlier post the effort has been coming along in the last 3 weeks to a month so I would not be suprised to see a very good series this weekend. Would you please post the sponge bath on u tube so we all can see it? Thanx
