Before this weekend, I didn't think it was possible for a team to outplay the other and still lose. It hurts being wrong.

3rd period almost made me sick on Saturday. The Jackets dropped back on D which is fine if done right. UWS also had a couple, if not several, good looks at Kleiman while up 3-2. On the doorstep once again (ala 06-07 quarters) to only get the door slammed in the nose.

Thank you Jackets. Especially you seniors. Chris Wilson was so fun to watch!!

Is this the same AD that does not understand what the term "general admission" is? I think that Pete and Mr Popcorn may have a different view of "Slugs Nelson".:D

I bet he got that name for being a kickass coach and a thorough AD.

Why is it that UWS has only one assistant coach? Seems to me the other teams have at least two and some have three or more. Stauber is probably so unlikable nobody wants to help him out. I have also heard that the university is just too cheap to pay for more.

it might not be too cheap but too poor. I'm not even sure if Laughlin has an assistant on the womens side...I know a few years ago he was always behind the bench alone.

yes, the women's assistant is Jamie Stauber I believe.

Could it be that Stauber is so much of a control freak that nobody wants to work with him due to no matter what they say or suggest Staubs won't listen to them. Go talk to anyone who has played on that team in the past, or one of the guys who is still on the team and they will say that Rodney can suggest anything to him, but if it is not Stauber's own idea, he won't do it. Who wants to work with a guy like that?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Good record...blah blah blah. What has he done? His teams have underacheived, IMO. The only national title was with players not his own. Oh, and the Power Play. Blech.

I must recant my assumption that the CSS goal was controversial. I have been informed by a usual on-ice official who was off duty that that goal was definitely a clean goal. The referees received flak from the UWS staff, which was what appeared as controversy.

Mr. Steve Tatro I presume?

I have been informed by a player on the ice that night that the goal was in fact controversial, even after viewing the video replay multiple times over. this, added to my eyes' suspicion, leads me to believe dalbec had indeed covered the puck cleanly and was intentionally shoved into his own net without stoppage of play.

sour milk i know.
