We still have the pwr/pairwise ranking to worry about. A loss this weekend would really put a crimp on making the NCAAs.

I would think we would have to get to the garden to make the NCAA's going like 6-1 in the next 3 weeks as we have many teams to jump over.

this team is quite frustrating. They are capable of playing so well but they cant play 60 minutes of focused, smart, aggressive hockey. Most of the first period was terrible. The 5 min pp was terrible. Then most of the 3rd they were tremendous.

Colton has a wrist injury, missed all of the 3rd and most of the second. that is not good.

Lekkas looked better tonight. Hope he gets on a run if Santa is not going to come in and give some presents away

Still have a chance to make the tourney via the pwr but need to do some damage. win tomorrow night, sweep the next weekend, win 2 of 3 the following weekend and probably the semi. this team could do that if they dont play uml and they get Colton back and Lekkas is back to early season form

Agreed on all fronts. Bowen is a sophomore? He looks absolutely intimidating and in command out there. Lekkas is looking like Lekkas again. This team could go quite a ways if things click.

Good resiliency last night!
Bad 1st period and terrible 5min pp and loss of Colton but still bounced back to play their best hockey in the third.
Next man up!

I dont think there will be any complacency, they looked aggressive and hungry!

Probably need 4-5 wins to get in pairwise, I would guess. 4 if other teams fall (which has NOT been happening) 5 I think is a lock.

Hope the Colton injury is nothing serious. The move he put on that defenseman on the first goal was ridiculous. He's a special player, someone we haven't had in a while, and it's gonna be difficult to make any kind of run without him. On another note, love those alternate away jerseys we wore last night. Our best jersey IMO.

And it's not even close.

Loved the aesthetic last night with no white jerseys. I said it on my blog's twitter, but I'll say it again - I would be so happy if we changed our light jersey to gold. Or even just brought back those cream jerseys from 2013-14. And then used the current alternates as the dark jerseys.

Speaking of UVM and PC, shoutout to the women for winning their Hockey East QF series over the Friars. After giving up the winner with 8.1 seconds to go in Game 1, they responded by outscoring PC 10-3 over Games 2 and 3

Does anyone know what the crease rules are? In the last two weeks the Cats have lost points because of crease calls which the refs
don't seem to be all on the same page. I understand in the heat of action with a crease full of players the calls can be tough but
that doesn't excuse these calls after they see the replay. Last week on Friday at BC the BC player went in the crease made contact with
Lekkas and never left and then scored a goal, after 5 plus minutes of review which us at home on the feed saw all the angles they still let
it count!!! But then last night with a player pushed and not even in the crease they don't allow the goal. At least Gravellese had the brains
to signal from the box and not wait like Bunyon who felt he needed to make a big dramatic signal. what should you expect from a ref who calls
a penalty on someone for being near a guy who trips on the puck.

As far as BC being our match up you have to think that's the best case scenario. The Cats have been playing really well there lately and BC is
probably struggling more than any team in the top6 spots.

Congrats to the Lady Cats on a great turnaround after what could have been a crushing defeat on Friday. Good Luck in the Semis
